Who We are:

Living in Community.

The mission of St. Paul Lutheran Church is to share the Good News of Jesus Christ to all people.

We are a congregation located in northwest Iowa, part of the North American Lutheran Church (NALC). The NALC is a fast-growing, Christian church in the Lutheran tradition, uniting Lutherans in congregations across North America. The NALC embodies the theological center of Lutheranism in North America and stands firmly within the global Lutheran mainstream.

All members of St Paul, when they joined or were confirmed in their faith, confess these intentions: "to live among God's faithful people, to hear his Word and share in his supper, to proclaim the good news of God in Christ through word and deed, to serve all people following the example of our Lord Jesus, and to strive for justice and peace in all the earth." We fail at this, we confess that, and trust God to forgive us, renew us, and lead us - so that we can delight in God's will and walk in Jesus' ways to the glory of God.

"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who produces them all in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good," (1 Corinthians 12:4-7).
