PASTOR CHRISTOPHER MARTIN, SENIOR PASTOR
Rev. Christopher Martin began serving as our Pastor at St. Paul Lutheran on June 1, 2025. Prior to coming to us, he served congregations in Iowa, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. He was ordained July 23, 2008, and has been a member of the North American Lutheran Church (NALC) since 2012.
In addition to his parish ministry, Pastor Martin has served the wider church as a member of the Renewal team for 5 years, 3 of those as co-chair, one term as a member of the Mission District Council of the Iowa Mission District of the NALC and two terms as a member of the Executive Council of the Wisconsin-Upper Michigan Mission District of the NALC. He also has been a contributor to the Advent and Lent devotional booklets for the NALC in recent years.
Bri Oetken, youth director
Bri is our Youth Director. She grew up in Wisconsin Dells, WI, and received a degree in Social Work and minor in Christian studies from North Central University in Minneapolis, MN. She served as a program director at Ingham Okoboji Lutheran Bible Camp and was part of the Youth Ministry team. She received her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Northern Iowa and works as a play therapist in Milford and Sheldon in addition to her role at St. Paul. She is excited to connect with youth and point them to Jesus so they can grow in understanding of God's love and grace.
Tami Roetman, Office manager
Tami joined the staff in July 1993. She and her husband Fred, live in Sheldon and have 2 children, Blake and Kendra. Her job consists of keeping the financial records, payroll, membership records, general secretarial duties for the Church Council and committees, and the day-to-day operation of the church office.
Dee Redinius, Assistant office Manager
Dee joined the staff in 2021. Dee and her husband have three adult children, and four grandchildren. She assists in the office helping with payroll, phones, membership rolls, and other tasks as needed.
Kristi Hegenbarth, OFfice Assistant
Kristi joined our staff in 2015. She is in charge of scheduling volunteers for roles in worship and preparing the Sunday bulletin and monthly newsletter. She and husband Rob have 3 children: Tommy, Jayden, and Jaxon.
Susan lichty, Worship Coordinator
Susan is married to Scott, with two grown sons. She's a grandma, now, too! Susan loves music and regularly helps lead worship with her beautiful soprano voice. As coordinator, she organizes our worship services, including lining up pianists, singers, hymns, special music, and puts together PowerPoint presentations for worship.
